SILLIEST GOOSE

Like many humans, I get a lot of enjoyment out of being silly and having fun.
Most of my videos are on my instagram page, but did you know I have an extremely inactive Youtube account?

If you want more videos, there’s so much ridiculous stuff on my INSTAGRAM. I implore you to explore.

FACT: Since I was in high school,
I have loved making giant food COSTUMES.

FREQUENTLY ANSWERED QUESTIONS *

  • I started playing when I was 5. Kicking the footy in the backyard was always my favourite thing. I loved trying new things, experimenting with kicks and marks and watching the ball.

  • I have played 99 VWFL/VFLW games and 92 AFLW games. I have missed 3 AFLW games over the past 10 seasons. 2 through a concussion and 1 through a broken pinky finger.

  • I’ve had the privilege of playing on many players! For most of my career, I have played as a forward, this means that it’s someone’s job to stop me. To me, the toughest opponents have always been the people who can read the ball and intercept. Players who are so focussed on what I’m doing often can be easier to play on because you can trick them.

  • I did… not! I grew up a St Kilda supporter. My dad is a huge Saints fan so our entire family were Sainters. My dad grew up around the Myrtleford region where the local team are the Saints, hence many people in the area are St Kilda supporters.

I can firmly say I am a Carlton supporter now, but the St Kilda fandom is deep in my bones.

  • I grew up in a little town called Markwood, 17 minutes outside of Wangaratta. My brothers and I went to Markwood Primary School (sadly it has shut down now).

When I started at Markwood, there was 35 kids and when I finished there was only 19.

  • Growing up, mum and dad would tell us 2 things. The first thing was to just ‘try our best’. They would tell us kids that no matter what we were doing, if we tried our best we could always feel proud of what we did and know that we got the most out of ourselves.

The second was to treat people with respect.

  • Great question. When I was younger I just assumed football would go on forever - even though I know the only guarantee playing is that you’ll one day stop!

I have spent the last few years diving into art and expressing myself in lots of creative ways. I love both sport and art and hope that when I finish my playing career I can continue to contribute to both of those worlds. A dream setup for me could be making art and also doing some work promoting AFLW.

  • Food - Nonna’s lasagne
Musician - Beyonce, Doechii and Sam Smith
    Number - 3 (lucky me)
Colour - I like all of them
    TV show - Broad City
Movie - Everything, Everywhere, All At Once

  • I have kicked 66 goals and 49 points in my career. That’s a 57.49%* accuracy in front of the big (and little) sticks.

*Not including the shanks that never made it onto the scoreboard…
